This guide will walk you through how to change images in your Tovuti instance and the dimensions for those images.

Areas You Can Customize

Design Center Section

In this section, we will cover the general and default image settings that you can set in your Tovuti instance.

Quick Start

Quick Start is the first step in image customization within your Tovuti instance! Listed below are your options for customization and the image dimensions you will need:

Logo: Either 70 x 70 or 100 x 70 

Favicon: 32 x 32

Home Page Slide Image: 1920 x 800

Dashboard Header Image: 1800 x 300

Select Quick Start from the Design Center side-menu.

Brands

The Brands section in the Design Center enables you to further define your brand or create a new one. There are several customization options that set default images for your site:

Favicon: 32 x 32

Video Cover Image: 1280 x 720

Default Course Category Cover Image: 1800 x 300

Default Course Cover Image: 1800 x 300

Default Event Category Cover Image: 1800 x 300

Default Event Cover Image: 1800 x 300

Default Avatar Image: 150 x 150

 

Select Brands from the Design Center side-menu.

Select Site Logos to edit the Favicon and Video Cover Image.

Select Default Settings to edit all default image settings.

Landing Pages

In the Landing Pages section, you can select a specific landing page and edit the logo or add slideshow images.

Homepage Logo: 70 x 70 or 100 x 70

Slideshow Image or Video: 1920 x 800

 

Select Landing Pages from the Design Center side-menu.

Choose your landing page.

The Homepage Logo will be found under Basic Information.

Select the Slideshow tab to input your images or videos.

Learner Portals

In the Learner Portals design tab, you can create a new learner portal for your users or edit the default portal.

Dashboard Logo: 70 x 70 or 100 x 70

Header Background Image: 1800 x 300

 

Select Learner Portals from the Design Center side-menu.

Next, choose the learner portal you would like to edit.

Select Dashboard Site Logo to change the dashboard logo.

Select Main View Area to edit the Header Background Image.

Learner Dashboard

In the Learner Dashboard design tab you can set a default header image for your user's dashboard.

Default Learner Dashboard Background Header Image: 1800 x 300

 

Select Learner Dashboards from the Design Center side-menu.

Choose your leaner dashboard.

Scroll down till you see the option Show background Header Image. Be sure to select Default, if you do not the new image will not be shown.

Upload your image in Default Learner Dashboard Background Header Image.

Login Page

In the Login Page design tab, you can upload the background image and logo for your login page.

Background Image: 1100 x 700

Logo: 70 x 70 or 100 x 70

 

Select Login Pages from the Design Center side-menu.

Choose your login page.

Edit your background image and logo under Details.

Into Specifics

The previous section primarily covered default settings for your Tovuti instance. In this section, we will look at how to change individual items.

Course Categories

In the Course Categories section, you can upload specific header images for individual categories.

Course Category Image: 1800 x 300

 

Select Course Categories from the Learning side-menu.

Choose the course category you wish to edit.

The image can be changed under Course Details.

Courses

In the Courses section, you can upload thumbnail images for your course cards and place a custom cover image.

Thumbnail Images: 400 x 300

Cover Image: 1800 x 300

 

Select Courses from the Learning side-menu.

Choose the course you wish to edit.

Select Details.

Lessons

In the Lessons section, you can upload custom thumbnail and cover images for your lessons.

Thumbnail Image: 50 x 50

Cover Image: 1800 x 300

 

Select Lessons from the Learner side-menu.

Choose the lesson you wish to edit.

Select Details.

Event Categories

In the Event Categories section, you can upload a custom image for each category.

Event Category Image: 1800 x 300

 

Select Categories from the Events side-menu.

Choose the category you wish to edit.

The image can be changed under the General tab. 

Events

In the Events section, you can add a new image for each of your events.

Event Image: 400 x 300

 

Select Events from the Events side-menu.

Choose the event that you wish to edit.

The new image can be uploaded under Basic Information.

Media Items

In the Media Items section, you can upload an image for your main media file and a thumbnail image for the media item.

Main Media File: 400 x 300

Thumbnail Image: 1800 x 300

 

Select Media Items from the Pages and Media side-menu.

Choose your media item or select New.

Select Media Files.

Teacher Profiles & Avatars

Teacher and User Avatars are recommended to be 150 x 150 in size and always in a square format, otherwise stretching will occur.
